Michael Russo is a Hoboken, New Jersey-based physical therapist and human resources professional who has pursued an accomplished career. With over 20 years of clinical and leadership experience, Michael Russo of Hoboken has focused on areas such as outpatient orthopedic care, functional medicine, and vestibular rehabilitation. Currently, he serves as a human resources associate at the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, where he offers support in onboarding new employees, managing employee benefits, and recruiting.
As the former CEO of NJIB, he managed operations, treated patients, and communicated with healthcare providers. Certified in concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation, he holds an active New Jersey license and maintains a commitment to evidence-based treatment.
Deeply rooted in the New Jersey community, Mr. Russo belongs to the Hoboken City Council, Hospital Authority, and the Hoboken Cannabis Review Board.
He earned his doctorate of physical therapy from Utica University, preceded by bachelor's and master’s degrees from Stockton University and Rutgers University, respectively. In his free time, he actively engages in public health outreach and pro bono initiatives for high school and college athletes across New Jersey.
